There was nothing wrong with Ivy. She was beautiful the way she was and nothing was wrong with her Aussie accent.
shareThe writers are stupid, because Ivy already resembled Steffy enough AND her accent doesn't sound that different. Lucy Lawless and Toni Collette can do great Americans accents and I've heard other Australian actors accomplish such, but Ashleigh Brewer just doesn't really need to do one. Ivy's accent made her more interesting than Steffy and Liam loved it...I think so anyway.

Quinn's reason for giving Ivy a makeover was a ridiculous one to begin with, another reason to get rid of the poor excuse B&B have for writers. Liam already knows Ivy has an Australian accent and it never stopped him being attracted to her before. As far as the other aspects of the "makeover", all Quinn had to do to have Ivy dress the same as Steffy was to take her to a store that caters to Hollywood Hookers, which, based on what I've seen her wearing, Steffy obviously shops for clothes, unless Steffy's wardrobe comes exclusively from Forresters' "Brooke's Bedroom" line.
