Jennifer Gareis (Donna) returning to B&B for extended story arc

Just read it online and hope it's true. I'd much rather see Eric with Donna then with Quinn. The whole storyline with Eric falling in love with Quinn defies logic. I mean, I know B&B is a soap opera but any good story has to have some basis in reality. Quinn pushed Ivy off a bridge, held Aly over a crosswalk several hundred feet above the ground, shoved Deacon off a cliff, tried to kill Liam with a sword and later held him hostage. No intelligent, reasonable person would believe Quinn has changed and it's insulting that the writers expect the audience to believe it. Characters like Quinn might be fun for a while but, sooner or later, you get tired of watching them get away with the same ridiculous stunts. To have Eric now defend Quinn completely undermines the integrity of his character. Anyway, I'm happy to read Donna is coming back. For what purpose, I don't know but, hopefully, it's to show Quinn the door.
