Ridge is a horrible son
My God, the way he stood at Eric's bed and yelled at him after he finally came out of his coma was CRUEL. I also can't stand Ridge's voice, it sounds like he smokes four packs of cigarettes a day.

shareHe acted like he was hoping his step-dad would have another stroke. I was so happy to hear Quinn tell Ridge that he and Stuffy were relieved of their duties. Stuffy won't care because she is too busy in the sack with Liam, whom she just left Wyatt for five minutes ago. Those two steps are disgusting.
shareI cannot stand Ridge. He is such an arrogant bully, and I find him truly irritating. I don't really care for his voice either.
Wonder is the seed of knowledge.🐈
I never understood the casting of Thorsten Kaye in the role. Ronn Moss's Ridge is supposed to be a laid-back California dude. Kaye is plainly German and comes across as a thug with a volcanic temper and black heart, polar opposite to how Ridge should be. As I've said many times, he's still playing his character on "All My Children", Zach Slater. The scene between him and his sick (step)father was just twisted and evil, nothing that Quinn ever did came close to that level of cold-hearted blackness and selfishness.
shareI never watched All My Children, so I was spared seeing Thorsten Kaye as Zach Slater. I have not liked TK as Ridge since Day One, but I truly hate him now. He keeps saying that he wants Quinn gone, well I want him gone!

Kaye was fine as Slater on AMC because his character was dark and tortured, tailor-made for him to play. The problem is that he's playing Ridge almost exactly the same way, and it doesn't fit the character at all (actually, worse, he's playing Ridge like an outright villain and thug).
shareThe thing that drives me crazy with Ridges character is that fact that he doesn't listen. Eric told him he's happy with Quinn, and Ridge is always like "no your not." No matter how many times Eric tells him. Same thing with Brooke. She tells Ridge she's marrying Bill for love and he's like, "so when's your annulment?" Ugh.
-Who is it?
-It's Grandpa. And it sounds like he's gotten into the horseradish again.
Ridge is a horrible character with zero rooting value!
