That house did not look all that great. Plus Quinn is your neighbor. Even if the house looked better, Quinn is your neighbor.

Rick did find the house but the realtor telling her to up her offer and pay cash and write a letter (yeah the realtor is doing her job but the house does not look that good)
As for Quinn the nutcase showing up in her robe, that would be a deal breaker for most. Who wants to live right by the crazy?

In fairness to the realeter, as others have pointed out she didn't choose the house, but also, in the fictional B&B Los Angeles, how widely known is Quinn's crazy? Is she in the tabloids? It seems like the Spencer's and the foresters keep the family secrets close to their chest. Perhaps to the outside world, Quinn is nothing more than a talented jewellery designer and business woman who happens to be married to Eric. Not a sociopathic, kidnapping, lying, scheming, probably-murdering crazy woman.
