The lame opening shots...

with rapid flashes of characters either kissing or chasing each other through the halls of Forrester or whatever seems desperately amateurish. If Bill Bell is trying to re-energize the show, he should really focus on creating better stories or making use of more interesting characters. I am bored to death with Liam and Steffy as well as the Bill/Brooke/Ridge triangle, which never seems to resolve itself. Personally, I'd like to see more focus on the Avant family (Vivienne and Julius are horribly under-used) and the writers missed a great opportunity with the whole Quinn/Eric/Katie story. In stead of having Quinn get jealous of Katie and Eric, it would have made much more sense if Eric had invited Donna to watch the fashion show with him since Donna is Eric's ex wife and still carries a torch for him. Given Quinn's history with Donna (fans may recall it was Donna who first realized that Quinn had a few screws loose), this could have made a really great storyline.

Makes me wonder just how much of an involvement Bradley Bell has with his father's creation because I seeiously don't know what they're trying to do with this show. As you watch the show it's usually the same few people and they say the same thing over and over, for example:

Steffy and Liam, "There is finally nothing or no one in our way of getting married."

Eric to Quinn, "Oh how lucky I am to be with you. You've changed my life."

Zende to Nicole: I love you, Nicole. Just take the ring.

Ridge to Brooke: "This is where you belong, Logan.
