Eric - the king of extramarital affairs

Metering out moral advice??  That was laughable. When he offered Steffy the position, she was already living with Liam so why does it matter now? Oh yea, because his puppetmaster whispered in his ear. 

I was thinking the same thing. I am officially over rooting for Eric and Quinn. He didn't want anyone interfering in his life, but NOW he feels he is justified meddling in someone elses, ridiculously using morality as the reason, when he failed that on ALL levels, and still built a successful company, doing this only to appease Quinn and Wyatt. The writing for this storyline has gotten stale, which is something they always seem to manage to do. He's not gonna know what hit him when his son has an affair with his wife, because that's the only interesting thing brewing right now, so I hope it doesn't take long. Ridge is playing a game, but I think he is truly going to fall for Quinn.

I don't know why they're painting Eric as a true pillar. I guess it's because he's getting on in years they're making him the good old guy and a respectable person. 🙄

I want Eric to be happy. Like he told his kids, he doesn't have a long life ahead of him anymore.

Yeah that was really odd. If I were Steffy I'd be like "look if this job comes with strings attached, I'm out." She had enough experience to do anything. Even though it wouldn't be CEO, she could jump ship to Spencer... I'm sure Bill would hire her in a minute. And how Steffy doesn't see Quinn pulling the strings behind this is beyond me. Like it's so obvious what's going on, it's odd that she's ignoring that. Especially since Quinn basically kidnapped & sexually harassed Liam.

-Who is it?
-It's Grandpa. And it sounds like he's gotten into the horseradish again.

But at the end of the day, Quinn can pull any strings she wants, but if Steffy is as committed to Liam as she proclaims, then it is all in vain.
So what if Quinn decided Wyatt and Steffy should share an office? So what if Eric wants Steffy to move into his house with Wyatt? It surely shouldn't change the way Steffy feels. And more to that, everyone keeps crapping on about how smart and Savvy Steffy is. Well, if that is the case, she KNOWS what Quinnis up to and can see the signs. If she isn't aware and doesn't see the obvious machinations going on then she probably shouldn't be CEO.
As far as I can see, no matter what Quinn does, it shouldn't have an effect on her relationship with Liam if both of them are as committed as they claim.
But then history has shown us they will always find an excuse as to why they can't be together, and there will always be someone else to blame when they aren't. If it isn't Quinn, it will be Hope. If it isn't Hope, it will be someone else. These 2 have had more chances to make it work than most, and if Quinns scheming- which they are well aware of- is all it takes to drive Steffy back to Wyatt, it just shows how genuine her relationship with Liam really is.
I feel like the pair of them are in love with being in love. And are both so self involved that they feel like they should be together despite all the signs saying otherwise.
