Give Katie a different storyline.

I guess Stephanie was the only woman ever on B&B that was written to function without a man. I love katie but her obsession with Eric and is lovelife with Quinn seems so crazy to me. Now, we are suppose to believe that katie is attracted to Eric's old ass. I mean its clear as day she has a thing for him and Im just like why??? Katie, u are freakin rich as hell, u should be traveling or starting a business of your own instead of chasing an old man that is married.

It has never been said or implied that Katie is attracted to Eric; you inferred it. That's your problem, not the writers'.

She has never indicated that she has a thing for him. It is possible for a man and a woman to be friends. Again, your sexism is your problem, not the writers'.

She isn't "chasing" anyone. You're just sexist, that's all.

It is very possible for a man and woman to be friends because I have plenty male friends that I would never want to be with romantically but on B&B terms I can clearly see where this is headed? Its obvious they are going have katie falling for Eric if not already. I mean they already got Quinn possible falling for ridge so it is what it is.

I much rather see katie have a different storyline that doesnt involve another stupid triangle. Heather Tom is incredible actress and shouldnt only be consumed to the same storylines over and over again.

I'm not sure how long you have watched B&B, but I have watched from Day 1, and Stephanie was never written to function all that well without Eric. Maybe you missed a few years. Stephanie meddled, manipulated, hired people to help her, etc, and cried for YEARS each and every time Eric proceeded to dump her for another woman. At one time she damn near had a mental breakdown because he no longer wanted her, and that was in more recent years, before she went to work for Nick and Jackie Marone, where she got herself together for a while, before the writers put her and Eric back together, essentially rewriting their history as if they had some great love, which is total BS. I hate it every time it's mentioned or implied. All she ever did was undermine every relationship he ever had, when she wasn't trying to pull some manipulation to end it. She was nothing more than a variation of a lot of the traits we see in Quinn. She was obsessed with Eric for the better part of all of her years as a character, except for a small few. Stephanie was not what I'd call a strong woman. I know she seems to be a beloved character by many, but she was really a bitter old bully, who seemed to criticize anyone who loved sex and intimacy with a man.....TRUTH!!

No, I agree Stephanie was indeed all about Eric and went crazy for him but she had other storylines outside of men. She didnt need to be with a man or a part of a triangle to have her own story. Unfortunately the women on the show as of now have no story unless it involves a man or triangle, its sad. Back in the day, they gave so different storylines that were really good but not anymore.

cheldove, You and I have always shared the same view on Stephanie as well as her and Eric's "epic" love story.  Huge rewrite and a load of baloney.
Steffy and Liam, same rewrite. Every time they show that damn hilltop wedding I cringe. We all know Hope was locked in the gondola. Steffy and Liam have history, I'll give them that, but the love story was always Hope and Liam and Steffy and Bill.
