In the opening segment, they showed people shopping for tomatoes inside a supermarket.
Okay, I get the people on the beach, the occasional skater down a sidewalk, all the meaningless buildings in the city.... but shopping in a supermarket??
What was up with that?

That was the Farmers's Market in LA. it's right across from the CBS studios. Which BTW the outside shots where they had Ridge & Brooke reunite is the outside of CBS. The writers would have us believe it's outside of Forrester.
