The Sally clone (from back view)

Wow, I can't believe they went there.

Has any soap done this before?

Other than the fake wig, I would have thought it Darlene Conley if I didn't know better.

Great job paying homage to a fabulous character long missed. I just hope they don't overdo it. Maybe once just to let us see Sally is alive and well.

What's everyone else think?

Idk. I thought it was a little odd and cheesy. If anything, they should have just showed the new Sally on the phone and let us hear old Sally's voice. Even then it's a little much.

I thought it was an odd and campy scene. Looks like they put a man in a wig, shot him from the back and had him talk and act like Sally.

They do this on occasion, and I like it. For those of us veteran viewers it's a nice reminder of Darlene Conley and the shows history.

The woman has been dead for 7 years why not let the woman rest in peace?

Maybe life is a dream and we wake up when we die?

reply

The character is not dead.

reply

Yes I know but she should be. Jeez, they kill off a character (Stephanie) but the actor was still living and they keep a character alive when the actress has been dead for 7 years. It's ridiculous.

The character isn't dead but what are the chances of Sally heading back to L.A. and a large rock or boulder falls on her killing her instantly. Soaps can be funny like that and it'd be much cheaper than a recast.

How did they keep the character alive? I missed the episode...the last time I saw Sally, Stephanie was helping her battle cancer and they buried the hatchet. I thought she died off the show and then they did a dedication homage to her like they did Saul because she passed away in real life...am I remembering wrong? Did they just have her disappear after treatments? Thats why I thought Steph did that with Brooke...her and Sally buried hatchet when terminally ill
