has anyone read this book companion for the show? Is it good?

Just flicked through my copy to refresh my memory: it's OK. Bulk of it is essays, so it's basically a well-produced fanzine. Worth a read, but not paying silly money for.

No tears please, it's a waste of good suffering.

It's a treat for BatB fans, but The Unseen Beauty and the Beast is an even better book. It contains lots of unfilmed episodes, most of which are way better than what we got during season 2.
