Youngblood's Stats

Hey folks,
were all well aware deaner sniped 92 ginos for the stanton flyers as a17 yr old. And he played a few playoff games with the Mustangs in playoffs and scored a few goals.
But my question is, the following season, does dean come back and play for the Mustangs? (He recieves team jacket at end of game)or does he sign a pro contract?

Lets just say he comes back for the season with the Stangs' . How many points, goals, assists he scored? I think its the OHL level so that means there's 68 games in a season.
Also Sutton's stats as well.

I know it was the high-flying 80s but I can't see a twerp like Youngblood,at age 18 or 19, getting the call up to the bigs. I say he gets sent back to junior and likely puts up the numbers you postulated (although 62G and 78A is only 140 points). After that, he'd have a few years in the IHL and enjoyed the occasional cup of coffee in the NHL, but no way does he ever establish himself in the league. His only hope for a permanent job in the NHL would be to wait it out for the expansion era of the early 90s, but I think we all know he didn't have the perseverence to do that.

On the other hand, Sutton had the size, determination, and skill to be a top line power forward. He spends 87-88 in the AHL and lands a permanent NHL job the following year. Until the trap takes effect in the mid-90s, he's going to put up several years where he averages 50 goals and 80-100 points.
