ALOT OF PEOPLE HATED THIS MOVIE BECAUSE OF HOW VIOLENT THIS MOVIE SHOWED HOCKEY TO US,BUT WHAT PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE IS JUNIOR HOCKEY IS VERY ROUGH LIKE THIS,BECAUSE FOR MOST PEOPLE TRYING TO CUT IT IN THE PROS,IT'S THEIR LAST CHANCE TO GET THERE,AND THEY REALLY WANNA IMPRESS THE SCOUTS.ALSO ONE OTHER POINT,THIS MOVIE MAKES YOU LAUGH SO HARD AT HOW BAD KEANU REEVES IS AS AN ACTOR.SEE IT FOR THE LAUGH OF HIM AS THE GOALTENDER FOR THE MUSTANGGS,AND THAT GOD AWFUL ACCENT OF HIS!

You want to talk about how bad Keanu was in this movie?
Then i'll tell you how *beep* bad he was in this movie, because you know what? He was *beep* 17 or something, how many 17 year olds with hardly any acting experience who are outstanding? NONE! He was mainly chosen for this part for his excellent hockey playing. And what the hell was wrong with his accent? In the first place, what accent?

I can tell your one of those Keanu haters who critisize him just because he has a better life than you. Whatever.

the only reason keanu reexes rocks in this movie is becouse he's bairly in it and has very little dialogue... but as a goaltender who just stands there looks dumb like ted his other name sake it fits him!!!!

Why all the discussion about Keanu Reeves? "Youngblood" was his first studio movie appearance. He barely had any lines.
