He was staked with a Formica stake which doesn't kill vampires. I guess they didn't want to use the normal vampire cliche where if you kill the head vampire the vamps they turned revert back to human.

So I guess you can say, he remained a vampire, but a good one in a sense because he couldn't return to the above ground or he would burn up. But I guess they wanted to go a different route and not bring him back as human.

I bet there were some disappointed people who seen this back in '86 that wanted him to go back.

He was planning on taking some night classes. Technically they did bring back a stripper for the party if the blonde was game enough. She didn't seem ashamed of the idea of being a stripper. So both could be in the Fraternity.
