Movie help!

OK so I remember seeing a movie when I was a child, and I'm not sure if this was it. The only scene I really remember involved a troll type creature in a small dirt tunnel and it was either transformed or created or something involving olive drab colored goo??? I know that is extremely vague, but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Is this the one with the lil fella in it with the dodgy tash? Been wanting to see that one again for ages but could find it also theres that blonde lass that the troll has in a glass case near the end of the film? Very vague I know but I was like a kid when i saw it and loved it

any help would be awesome cheers
