Anyone scared of the midget as a kid

I mean it was the FIRST TIME I ever saw a "tiny person" so I was scared out of my mind.

Knock down the world it's uh loving you

I didn't see the movie until I was around 19, so I didn't see it as a kid.

I might have been afraid of the troll (and the other trolls, and maybe Eunice as a talking tree thing), but I would not have been afraid of Malcom.

Malcom was sweet :).

lol I mean I was scared cause it was the first time I ever saw a "little person" in my life and didn't know of there existance. And didn't know what to think of it at all so was very scared and confused.

I was about 4 by the way.

Are people too STUPID to understand this?

Dark Knight is the worst movie ever. The villain died before it even came out.

Well, I understand, since you were 4...I didn't know you were 4 :).

I know unfamiliar things can be frightening to a small child.
When I was 5 a little guy worked at the commissary where we used to buy groceries. He was a nice guy, but once when he was taking our groceries to our car (I miss stores doing that) he tried to race me to the car.
I thought he was trying to chase me, and ran away.

It wasn't too long after that, though, I started loving little people...when I saw Willow on TV (Phil's in that too!).

I'm watching Troll right now, and I'm totally smitten with Malcolm...he's got such a gentle voice.

I wasn't scared of him at all. Had seen little people before and it didn't bother me. Of course the first time I saw this movie I think I was 14.

I saw it as a kid too. I wasn't freaked out by the actor (little person is more PC), I was freaked out by what he turned into. I miniature version of himself. A really cool mechanical puppet, like Yoda or something ! I know it's puppet now, but back then, I didn't know what the heck I was looking at!

lol Me too on the little Mal as well.

The term you used to describe a little person is offensive to little people.

This film legitimately WARPED my world when I was young. True story.

on a lighter note..

I never saw this movie as kid, though I doubt I would have been scared of him even if I had. I found midgets/little people/whatever odd and unusual when I was younger, but never scary.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for.
