PG13/R?
Just watched this on the EPIX Drive-In channel and it gave it an R rating. Is there more than one version of this movie?

shareI don't think there is.
Can't stop the signal.
That had to have been a screw-up. Originally the film was conceived as an R-rated horror movie (with Turok killing off the building's residents) but the fantasy element was devised when producer Charles Band decided that he wanted to make it a PG-13 film (no doubt to play off of the success of "Gremlins"). A topless photo of Julia Louis-Dreyfus was published in Cinefantastique but I doubt that made it into any cut of the movie (and in that era, nudity didn't automatically get a movie an R-rating - or the PG-rated "Sheena would've been rated X!).
