TRICK OR TREAT SPECIAL EDITION DVD

I think Anchorbay's will be a 'special edition', because if you go onto play.com, they don't have a release date on it, or any info as yet, but they are calling it 'Trick or Treat Special Edition', why else would they call it that, so it must be. PLus what's also good is that Anchorbay UK, usually some of there releases like 'Terror Train' they come out really quick (and Terror Train was a crap DVD), whilst 'Trick or Treat' has been on the future list forever, so hopefully this means they are spending alot of time and money on it to release a good special edition (like they are with the Phantasm pack), because the film deserves it!

I bought the bare bones DVD and I liked the movie. But do I think there will be a Special Edition? Highly, highly doubtful. Even with so-called bad movies, there usually has to be at least a considerable cult audience to build up for a film to be given that treatment (i.e.: "Showgirls"). I'm not even sure if any of the makers of the film want to be associated with it. I know Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne admitted that they thought the movie was horrible. But then again, there's always the benefit of the doubt. If they do release a Special Edition, that would be cool, since it is an enjoyable film (to me, at least) and there are much worse films out there that are still given the 5-star treatment, as far as DVDs are concerned.
