Cult following?

It seems strange to me that a film that has such a major cult-following is so hated by the actors who were in it and has been virtually forgotten about for the last 20 years. How does that even happen? Surely, this film warrants a Special Edition DVD, sequel or even a remake by now. What's the deal? This film is an absolute classic! Let's make it happen, people! Get to the phones...get to a petition site. Give a shout out to Anchorbay or Lionsgate, let 'em KNOW you want them in the vaults looking for this gem so that a 25th Anniversary Edition DVD will finally see the light of day. Do it! Do it NOW I say!!! Lol!
