... And I recalled it being much better than it was. My main problem was the compl;ete lack of gore. Seriously, there was very little in it, which is a shame as it had a few interesting death ideas in it (The one death that was gory, where Sammi puls the chick throu the TV wasnt even that gory)
I don't think gore was the point! It was purely a movie for lovers of 80's metal music...and it succeeded brilliantly!

Ha ha! I'd forgotten about the bit with the old lady, when he's holding her little charred corpse. That was hilarious, especially when you see the nerdy guy hoovering it up later.
But I agree with phantomdroid, the movie didn't need gore, it was just a light hearted horror romp with some great 80's tunes.

films like TRICK OR TREAT prove that 80's horror can be amazing without relying on gore effects. I myself am a big fan of gore but put loads of gore in a movie with bad story and no other redeeming quality then what is the point?
