I have to admit I start on October 1st and rock the whole month. Elm Street 3, The Crow, The Frighteners, The Lost Boys, Dracula (92), and even camp like Plan 9 From Outer Space and Kiss Meets the Phantom get thrown in too. Also basically anything from John Carpenter works.

I don't know if I watch 5 total on the actual day, but I do watch Evil Dead every year at the end of the night. Like many, I watch numerous movies over the course of the month. I usually watch one of these on or a day before Halloween though:

I actually watch horror movies ALL year round and starting September nothing but horror. but specific movies I watch closer to Halloween would be of course 1. the 'Halloween' movies...all but 5-6

3. Monster House
4. Saw franchise
5. Night of the Demons
bonus all Simpsons treehouse of horrors
but my all time favourite Halloween movie would be 'dark night of the scarecrow'
I also rock the entire month of October with horror movies!!
Whatever I'm in the mood for at the time is what I'll watch,but my definite "must watch" would be
#1-Halloween(78,as well as Zombies 07 take on it!)
#2-Trick or Treat(of course!!)
#3-Nightmare on Elm Street
#4-House of 1,000 Corpses
#5-The Lost Boys
And just for "shiggles",I'll do some camp horror like Beetlejuice and Arachnophobia, Young Frankenstein also because Mel Brooks is a comical genius!!
