Do any of you know why Charlie was quitting his job in the end?

I don't feel this was ever explained in the movie and he seemed to like that guy Larry he worked with.
My guess is that Lulu showed him a whole new world of adventure and gradually made him look down on his high pressure job/lifestyle?

Yeah, well, that's how most pople read it, I think. I certainly do. Charlie simply can't go back to his old life now that he has seen what the other side of himself is like, to paraphrase what Lulu says to him immediately before the final showdown with Ray.
