shareShe was never hotter than she was in this movie.
shareMelanie Griffith still looks great. I don't think her nudity needed to be exploited to sell her natural sexuality, but still the movie was decent enough.

I wouldn't have recognized her in the wig if I hadn't first scene the credits. But later on she is very recognizable when she sports that ugly much to short hairdo she had in the mid eighties. The earlier look with the wig was sort of a Betty Paige inspired dominatrix type look.
What most confuses me though after watching the movie was why she took him on her ride? I had assumed she was hired to set him up or scam him for one reason but her motivation never became clear. What just to be scene at the class reunion? Hardly a beleivable premise.
I haven't watched this movie in quite some time but I think the answer to your question as to why, she told her mother something to the effect that "see mom, this is the guy you always said I should marry". So she took him along to her HS reunion to show her mother and everybody else what a catch she made. And since she thought the guy was a square who was married and having a fling himself, she could just let him go when it was all over.
shareYes, she never looked so beautiful as this, and in Cherry 2000 also ! Hottest scene (besides the sex scene): the "i like thick things between my legs" line with them in the motorcycle.
shareShe looked great in that black wig. This is her best film, I liked it better than "Working Girl", by far.
shareI know this is an old thread, but damn, I did fall in love with Melanie Griffith when I saw this film back in 1986, at age 18. I absolutely fell hard for her with that black hair. Without the black hair, maybe not so much (although even as a blonde, she's still pretty breathtaking in this film). She was enchanting as the black-haired, thigh-high wearing, punk seductress. I dreamed of meeting a woman like that when I was a teenager. Melanie Griffith has never looked as good as she looked in Something Wild, either before or since.
