stupid ray liotta

has anyone else came acroos that if one were to get rid of the drama side of this movie, it is identical to "who's that girl?" i love the movie who's that girl, and i loved the first half of this movie. when ray liotta shows up, though he did a great job in the role, he ruins the movie. i wanted it to stay happy... i mean it was in the comedy section of hollywood video... the second half of the movie was disappointing to me. however, it is a good movie. melanie griffith rocks, and ray liotta does a decent job, even though changing the entire film. jeff daniels is great in the very begining, and sucks in the middle, then redeams himself in the very end.
but again, this movie is just like "who's that girl?" but not as funny.

The whole point of this movie is that it's not just a comedy. Sorry your video store sold you a bill of goods, but they have to put it somewhere (and they DO wind up together in the end!).

We don't have to suffer, we're the best batch yet.

as do madonna and griffin dunne in "who's that Girl?".
despite how melanie griffith has a better wardrobe than madonna, "Who's That Girl?" is far superior to this.

Different strokes, Rob...different strokes, but you're still a moron.

Who's That Girl came out a whole year after Something Wild. So don't you mean your post vice-versa?

Well the first half of the film is certainly more original and intriguing than the second, after Liotta shows up, but the more conventional psycho-thriller material is still very well filmed and acted.

This isn't a comedy at all, it's romance + thriller.
