Back in 1986 Something Wild was the first time I had seen Ray Liotta on screen. I remember thinking at the time that this guy can't be an actor. His maniacal character was so terrifying and authentic that I had trouble believing that Liotta really wasn’t as terrifying as the character. An amazing breakout performance and I’ve been a fan ever since.

He really is great in this movie. Cool, tough, and mean. Wouldn't have been the same without him in it, although I think each of the three leads gave strong performances.

I felt exactly the same~~Who IS this guy?? He was amazing in Something Wild.

He hasn't disappointed since, all the way up to his great performance in Goodfellas. I'm a huge fan.
