Was the end cut short from the original release?
I remember this as one of my best childhood movies, and i just got the chance to see it again on dvd.
I could have sworn at the end, when we see Bodi as a red streak in the sky,
that Danial waves to it and sez a long, drown-out "byeee bodiiii"
Am i going crazy or was that removed for the Dvd release? I'm currently searching for my origional, taped off HBO in the long-ago...
