Region 1 DVD-APRIL 14

It has a running time of 90 Minutes, which is the same time(1:30:24 to be exact) that the UNCUT Version I bought from Fleshwoundvideo. It has the "Where's the beef? scene and all the gore intact. Is there really a 95 minute version of this film?

Another good sign of this being Uncut is that Fearnet was playing this some time ago without edits at 90 minutes, and Lionsgate owns them so let's keep our fingers crossed.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

about freaking time!

and its cheap too. i see there is a banner on the top saying "The Lost Collection" so that must mean they are releasing more rare movies.

will get it for sure if it is the unrated version even though it says rated r i am assuming it will be unrated just look at the burning the dvd was rated r but was the full uncut version also of note the lost collection i wish lionsgate would release chud II the unnamable and a widescreen version of fright night 2 as well as a unrated dvd of return of the living dead 3

Maybe we'll finally see BLOOD DINER released.

This is great news, I saw this in the theater when it was first released and loved it, low budget slasher films are the best!!!

apparantly its a special edition release.

Shocktillyoudrop says that it's going to be the R-Rated version. Listen, like people who wanted a unrate My Bloody Valentine '81, just contact LionsGate via E-mail and tell them you want the unrated version. It's that easy!

I just bought Lionsgate's Region 1 Unrated DVD of Slaughter High and I have just seen it and it is the unrated complete 90 minute version of the film, because I remember seeing both the R and unrated versions of the film released in the mid 1980's by Vestron Video. Unfortunately the film has been released on DVD in fullscreen and not widescreen and the only extras on it are the original theatrical trailer by Vestron Pictures and a trivia track about the film and it's stars that appears on the screen while you're seeing the movie. I was lucky to buy this DVD for 10 dollars at my local videostore here in NYC.

Well here in Manhattan, New York City where I live, there are various videostores that sell studio released DVDs at least two weeks before the official "street date" of release of these DVDs. Stores like Best Buy, Virgin Megastore, FYE and WallMart are obligated legally by that DVD streetdate to sell those DVDs by that date, but the smaller independent "mom & pop" videostores or those DVD porn stores that masquerade as regular videostores don't do it in order to have an advantage on those major video stores. That's how I bought the Unrated Slaughter High DVD way before it's street date release.
