So, I met up with Harry Manfredini at Weekend of Horrors 2010. I told him how I adored the music of Slaughter High. He actually had to pause for a moment to remember what it was haha. He told me facts about the movie that I already knew (Simon dying etc) but he told me about his role. He actually never met anyone who was a part of the movie. He just composed the music and sent it to England. I told him he needs to take more credit because I feel the score is just brilliant.

I don't know if the score itself was brilliant, but it's a good title theme, sort of a unique mixture of horror synth/80s rock. The rest of the music from the film is essentially a retread of his original Friday the 13th score, because I'm sure that's what the producers asked for.

Awesome that you met Manfredini. I still think his most interesting work was for Friday the 13th parts 5 and 6. You can hear how much he really progressed as a musician and composer.
