Okay so I've recently read the story (overview) of Sid & Nancy's relationship and it's really interesting (though morbid to say the least) but am interested to see this movie, however am a little hesitant if it's just pretentious bull. I have heard good things about the portrayal of Nancy and Sid though, so thats a good thing.
On another note, I was shocked to read they were only 20 and 21 when they both died! :(
Gary Oldman and Chloe Webb did an amazing job in this film. Was it a "good" movie?
I liked it, but it's definitely not a positive, upbeat movie with a "message".
It's dark and kind of depressing watching these 2 souls struggle with their insecurities and their addiction.
I put the fun in dysfunction!
it's a beautiful movie, depicting more about an era of time rather than one/2 people's journey. and it is more of a drug story than a love story- the last half hour is more hardcore than all of ''Trainspotting''. Would definitely recommend it to a serious film buff
