I'm not sure if this was Mr. Cox's intention, but the pig-faced human incarnate of nails + chalkboard that is Webb's performance in this is just... beyond unbearable; she's somehow more annoying than even the awful, useless 'Willie' character Kate Capshaw played in 'Temple of Doom'... the previous winner (or LOSER, as the case may be) of "Most Annoying Movie Character Ever" until I saw this Nancy MESS. I mean, she is TRULY something to behold.

"SIIIIII!!!IIIIID!!! WHAT ABOUT THE 'FAREWELL' DRUGS!!? SIIIIIIIID!!! *beep* YOU!!! SIIIIID!!!

I had to turn it off, people - and I really was loving Gary Oldman's amazingly physical, gonzo performance, too. They say that the truly hideous Courtney Love witch-hag went HARD in her attempts to get the role. She could NOT POSSIBLY have been as bad as Ms. Chloe Webb's nasal, grating wailing. and guys...? I f--king HATE Courtney damn Love, man.

Webb is likely a perfectly fine person in real life, unlike Courtney "blow all of my late genius husband's riches" Love, and yet I still wish she was cast in the role.

...THAT'S how much I hate the Nancy character in this film.

worse than Jar Jar Binks. Worse than the entire filmography of Chris Tucker. Carrot Top's a committed thespian by comparison.

Apparently she was that annoying and known as nauseating nancy , yu should read the book and I don't want to live this life , she was on drugs from being a toddler ! Serious drugs too , wtf her doc was thinking I don't know

I was waiting for my hearse what came next was so much worse

the real Nancy Spungeon was a "blue baby" and was "born with half a brain", as the areas of impulses and reasoning were totally damaged and beyond repair. I knew a kid like that one time that was totally out of control as a preteen and teen and he always played with younger kids and hurt them regularly.

Wrong! A "blue baby" is a result of nitrate contamination from ground water. While Nancy Spungen may have experienced a brief lack of oxygen at birth,that would not effect her impulse control. What would effect that however is the fact that she was a severe schitzophrenic that refused to take prescribed medication.

If you go on YouTube, there are a few interviews with Nancy and I didn't find her to be at all abrasive. Actually she tried to class it up by trying on a British accent.
People probably hated her because they couldn't get Nancy detached from Sid .....literally. And a New York accent is grating to a lot of people. it's a harsh accent and diallect. That's why people who visit the eastern seaboard always say the same thing... that New Yorkers are rude and dismissive.

and she is too old. Nancy was only 20 years old at the time of her death, this chick looks like she is in her 40s
