Yikes. I love that. That scene cracks me up! I love when Johnny sings I want a job with him.

And that guy would go on to form The Knack.

This film was on one of the Encore channels last night, and I DVR'd it. I was setting the DVR thinking about this song...that is sad...

It was a funny part of the movie, though.

I put the fun in dysfunction!

That part is very funny. There are some funny moments in the film, but the film is mostly depressing. It's a good film though.

...One that satisfies...

HAhaha....

To the OP, LMAO. I always laugh at that part!

reply

Marry me. I am yours. ;)

reply

LOL The funniest part of the movie.

reply

Lmfao! That song is still stuck in my head all these years later. Just the way the guy sings it is SO funny!

reply

And Johnny's reaction to it is equally hilarious. I actually think this is a very funny film.

reply

It's got a punky, punky sort of feel.

reply

It's hilarious. Makes me laugh so much every time I see it. Did that guy really write that song in real life?. Anyone know?. It should have been made in to a real song lol.

reply

I also want to know if it was a "real" song, and if not, who wrote it for the film. It's the BEST! I wonder if any band ever covered it? I would die laughing if one of my faves -- maybe the Dandy Warhols -- broke into this little ditty out of nowhere.
