WHAT A GREAT MOVIE !

This movie was on the BBC last night, i've seen it a hundred times before, but watching it again really got me thinking about how good it was and the sad passing of Gregory Hines.
Its a real shame no sequel was ever made to this movie, because if ever there was an on-screen partnership which deserved another outing it was Billy Crystal & Gregory Hines in this movie.
The chemistry between them is just electric, you really feel these two guys have been working together for years, wading through the scum of the city.
Its a great comedy, with that fast snappy dialogue which is a trademark of the buddy cop genre. But it also has a good plot and excellent use of Chicago locations. When are they going to do a special edition dvd for this gem of a movie ?

One of my all time favourite movies...I caught it too last night but sadly fell asleep 10 minutes from the end....why do the TV channels put great films like this on so late yet show the most godawful cack at primetime.
I agree on the DVD also

I couldnt agree more, early evening tv is the pits, tv in general has gone down the wc over the last 20 years.
