The film follows the first movies formula about training recruits unlike 2 which dealt with following the graduated class on their first assignment but I think it was good to veer from the formula a bit cos if you watch 4 it suffered the fate of being repititive cos it mirrored 3 , 5 was a change of story a bit al la 2 and maybe 5 should have followed 3.You all still with me !! ;-)
shareI thought this film seemed a bit tired, with a fair share of jokes recycled from the first two movies. Fortunately, the exciting and well-staged action in the last third compensated quite a lot for the stale script. It's a pretty amusing and enjoyable entry in the series. I give it a 7 out of 10.
"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"
I don't think this is the funniest of the series, but it feels like maybe the most silly and mayhem filled.
shareI agree with you this was an underrated film and I thought it was nearly as good as the first two films.
sharemore of the original cast returns after disappearing from part 2 (which was a solid film, as was the first) plus new characters from the second film also return. it's a shorter film but feels longer because it has so many scenes. it's funny as hell.
