i remember watching a pirate movie when i was younger(about 10) , i would say the date it was made was 1985/1990 sort of time.

all i can remember about it is....a boy was on a ship and they stopped in the middle of the sea and threw him on a rock that was there and left him to die.

i also remember a piarte going on a zip line through the jungle

i remember nuns at the end of the film

a chase scene through the jungle getting fired at with bow and arrow
the main pirate had long hair and a red bow tied round his head

i have been wondering for years what this film was as i would like to see it again , if anyone out there can tell me the title of the film it would be much appreciated.

The piece of excellent, also-underrated Piratica you are looking for is called "Savage Islands" in the UK, "Nate and Hayes" elsewhere - terrible titles that may have terminally torpedoed it's chances at the box office.
