Gorgeous music
The main theme is so very lovely.
shareStrange... I haven't seen this in so long but the music just came to mind. Took me a few minutes to remember which movie it belonged to.

What if when you die, they ask "How was heaven?"
So exquisite. One of Barry's best scores. Link to the main theme for anyone interested:

FINALLY! The complete soundtrack featuring John Barry's fantastic score, and several of the tunes used in the movie are available. For those like me who bought the vinyl album at the time and were disappointed that it contained only four of Barry's cuts, this is a gift!

Hello I have a short question, when you are all talking about the main theme, are you also meaning the music at the end credits? Is that also by John Barry? I would love a copy of that music, does anyone know the name and who it is from (if not John Barry). Thanks for your help.
shareYes, it's the same composer throughout the film and including the end credits.
There is a really short/chopped up version of the score available on iTunes. There was, apparently, a limited deluxe edition of the FULL score which was released on cd a couple of years ago, however they only made a few of them and now you can only find them (and only a very few at that) for upwards of $60, although that would be worth it for a huge fan. :)
"Why couldn't the monkey arrange this from INSIDE the garbage can?"
I just watched the film again tonight, and noticed for the first time that the main theme was also the melody played by the music box that she opened once she returned to her past.
