Remastered and letterbox version on Verizon

For those with Verizon, they have an on demand channel called "view now". The channel is showing both a standard as well as an hd version of the film. Watching the HD edition on my analog tv set, you can see the film was remastered and looks pretty nice and appears to be in a 1:85;1 ratio.

When I saw this listed today I had thought that maybe it finally was given a dvd release or a burn on demand dvd release but neither still seems to be the case.
So in the meantime this would be the best looking version of the film out yet
