Good flick

Growing up during the 80's I somehow missed this film and only now have I just watched it. It's a hilarious flick which features a number of notable actors (like John Cusak and Demi Moore) who went on to bigger things. I like the fact that it's just plain fun and has none of the crudeness and filth that permeates today’s "comedies".

This film won't appeal to everyone but if you like 80's comedies in the style of Police Academy then this is your thing.

Great stuff.

Thought it was a hilarious movie, too. The cast was great and most of the silly humor worked because they were, well, just too damn funny. Now unlike others on here, I wasn't expecting much so I was genuinely surprised by how funny and entertaining it turned out to be. The only thing I disliked was the A-hole father and his animal cruelty -- it was very unnecessary. But other than that, I enjoyed the movie a great deal and laughed from beginning to end.

What do you think the teacher's gonna look like this year?

I do still like watching this every now and again.
It has its funny moments for me.
