It's clear to me that Mark Metcalf's acting depth doesn't really go beyond "erudite elitist prick who likes to spit on those below him"...

...AND I DON'T CARE!

My God, when you combine this with "Animal House" and the appearance in the Twisted Sister video, is there any doubt that Mark Metcalf should be on the Mt. Rushmore of American actors right next to Bruce Campbell, Kurt Russell, and Gary Busey? For the love of God, the man fires a harpoon gun at an opposing boat in a freaking regatta!

Actually he also played "The Master" on Buffy The Vampire Slayer...he was pretty creepy

He also played "The Maetsro" on Seinfeld, who was rather normal,
so he can play other characters besides the erudite prick.

I wouldn't say his character as The Maestro was normal because in the episode they talk about how he only wants to be reffered to as "Maestro".

Lewis Smith, Richard Mulligan, and the kid from "Iron Eagle".. Jason Gedrick! - I think.

Mark played the dad (who wasn't actually the kids biological father).. mighty strong step to raise a kid you know isn't yours.

Oh, Mark was asked by Twisted Sister to reprise his Animal House character for their videos.
