Is Victor Adelaide's lover ? They seem very close to each other, and Adelaide is very upset when she learns that he goes to Australia.

By the way, I just want to tell to everybody that this movie is really great.

Yes, Victor is "carrying-on" with Adelaide. That's why she was so upset when Victor announced that he is about to leave the country. Worse than that for Adelaide: He is heading to Australia, the other side of the world!
