Did I see this movie? (possible spoiler)

I've been thinking about a particular movie for a few years now. I saw it at the local artsy theatre, which plays all kinds of films from many decades, so I don't know how old the movie itself was. I am 99.9% sure that the movie was Swedish.

The movie was either very long or just moved slowly and felt like it went on forever. I believe there was a tree in the final shot (the camera focused on it) and may have also been in the opening shot. One of the last scenes has a man being put into a van of some type - possibly an ambulance? He keeps getting out and running around the lawn. His house may or may not be on fire. The feel of the whole film was very surreal.

I'm starting to think that it is this movie, but I'm not sure. I'd give additional plot details, but I actually ended up sleeping through much of it (oops). I'd really like to see the movie again and give it a fair shot. Does it sound like I've found the right film?
