Other good movies or tv series set in medieval cloisters (or villages)??

I saw "The Name of the Rose" again this week (for the fifth time, I think). I definitely love the atmosphere that it has. (And more things such as great actors and an interesting story, of course....)

Are there any good movies or tv series set in medieval cloisters or villages that have even remotely a similar atmosphere?

Until now I find "The Name of the Rose" truly unique, I have not yet found any movie that felt similar....

If it is the medieval mystery you like (and a fine actor) you could search out Derek Jacobi in the Cadfael TV series.

The Return of Martin Guerre is set in the 16th century, so technically not medieval, but it has a very authentic atmosphere.

Sorceress (1987) is another good French movie, set in the 13th century.

The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928) is a great silent movie.

Seventh Seal if you favor symbol filled Swedish.
