The one film that looks accurate for the middle ages
If i got in a time machine I'd expect Europe to look like this film. Not game of thrones or, well, most depictions of that time. Grim, hard, rough..Of course, I can't say for sure

shareI have to agree. I don't know if I'd say it's the only one, just because I haven't seen them all, but I was definitely impressed with how realistic it was, with how the locations looked and how the people looked. And I would say it looks more realistic than any other medieval setting I've ever seen in film. The director's attention to detail was amazing. I'm actually listening to the DVD commentary by the director and he talks a lot about that. I'm going to seek out more of his work.
