The Point of This Movie
The whole point of this movie was to address the whole destructive cult phenomenon. In this film Allie Fox was the destructive cult leader and the villagers were his cult followers. It took me years to figure this out. This movie should remind you of the true story of Jim Jones and the Jonestown Massacre. The people who hated this movie hated it so much because it is a required taste.
