anyone watch this in college for one of the core speech classes?

I watched this movie in "interpersonal communications".

course description:
The course covers the nature of communication, the importance of one's identity, the role of perception and emotions, and the importance of active listening. It examines the nature of language and non-verbal communication and considers gender and cultural differences. It focuses on improving communication in relationships, concentrating on relational dynamics, communication climates, and interpersonal conflict.

I forget how it would relate to this movie. I mean i just watched it the other day, and asfter not seeing it for 10 years in college, I don't see how it would relate.

We also watched "ordinary people" for obvious reasons. It's like that class was made to explain that movie haha

No, for my college speech class we had to watch "Say Anything."

Which passage in "Mosquito Coast" was held to be good communication?! I really enjoyed the film, but mostly it was dogmatic ranting.
