Are South Americans really black?

I thought they were brown. I was watching the movie, and I kept wondering if he had gone to Africa. But the name of the place was in Spanish.... Etc etc.

The filming was done in Belize where there is a rather large population of descendants of former slaves imported from The Congo.

So,

1) not South America, but Central America.

2) Yes, there are a lot of people of Indiginous African descent in Central America.

Not that there aren't also folks of Indiginous African descent in South America, too. While there I met some.

Ofcourse there are black people in central America, unless you think Jamaicans originated in China. It wasn't just the USA that Europeans brought Africans too, wherever there was a crop of something valuable you would find Africans, and central America is the home of tobacco, coffee and sugar.

Opinions are just onions with pi in them.
