This is being remade?!?!?

According to IMDB this is being remade as "Shame"! Does anyone know anything about this?

reply

It would be a damn shame if it happened, that's for sure.

Larry clark is remaking it. dont no who the *beep* he is, but why do they have to remake classics such as this:

Larry Clark? The freak who is obsessed with young teenagers? Great. Okay, I liked Another Day in Paradise, however, the idea of Mona Lisa, that masterpiece, in his hands is just awful. Mona Lisa is beautiful, perfect, and should never be remade.

Disgusting! With Larry Clark behind this remake, even worse... it'll basically be a teen porn version of Jordan's film.

Charles Lindbergh, that frakking nazi, he can kiss my ass, even from his grave.

Well, if you knew what my quotation means, you'd know I'm not defending him...

I understood that, but still, i take every oportunity to piss on him, if you know what i mean.

KIDS and BULLY are disgusting

but watch his film 'ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE'

it is an underrated gem

The idea of Larry Clark remaking Mona Lisa is repugnant. I hope it doesn't happen...

It's called "creative bankruptcy." The film industry has been in this state for years if not decades.

reply

Probably since it's conception.

That does sound really weird. I just don't get why, and the reasoning behind Larry Clark.

They're funny people, the Italians. Culture really isn't their thing.

reply

I hear that Hayden Christensen will be in the remake as well.

Well its in "talk" as they say.

I had some respect for Mickey Rourke but now I am beginning to lose it.He seems to be selling himself out and saying yes for every project. This movie is perfect and there is absolutely no need to remake it.Hollywood's looking pathetic these days with the enormous amount of classic movies that are being needlessly remade.

Fans of this movie must boycott this and ensure that the remake turns out to be a bomb at the box office!!!

Who on Earth could that be ?

It's a good thing it isn't.

Is nothing sacred? There isn't an actor anywhere who could improve on Bob's performance so why remake it? They'd only cock it up like 'The Italian Job'...and some bozo would decide it'd be better set in New York with 3 car chases and a huge shoot out!
It aint broke so don't fix it!
Someone will be suggesting remakes of 'Casablanca' & 'Citizen Kane' next!
