This has gotta be a shoutout to A Christmas Story, right?

A Christmas Story was released in 1985, but hadn't yet obtained its now cult-like status by the time this movie came out, just a year later. I haven't seen this movie in almost 30 years, since it was on cable. Of course, I see A Christmas Story every year.

BUT - this movie goes straight from a scene involving missing lug nuts to a scene with a giant wooden box marked FRAGILE. For those not in the know, there is a scene in A Christmas Story where Ralphie loses the lug nuts and yells out, "Oh, fudge." But he didn't say "Oh, fudge." And, of course, there is the famous wooden box with the lamp, marked, "Frah-gee-lay." It must be Italian.

Coincidence? I think not!
