Film about Jane's Grandma

"The Sword and the Rose" , released by Disney in 1953, and riding the wave of interest in British royalty due to Elizabeth's coronation, was directed by Ken Annakin (yes! he's who the Star Wars character is named for!).It starred, can we say it?--- an ADORABLE young Glynis Johns as Mary Tudor, Henry the VIII's ( played to the hilt by James Robertson Justice)younger sister, who defied him to marry a commmoner, Charles Brandon, played by Richard Todd. It's a fun movie with wonderful costumes and sets, and was such a success that the pair were teamed up to play the leads in "Rob Roy"---which was rather a dud. Todd also was a success as Robin Hood in a Disney film, and later played his own commanding officer in the Normandy D-day invasion ( which Todd was a veteran of) in "The Longest Day".
