Lady Kong's preggers

After reading some posts about the timespan of Lady Kong's pregnancy, I decided to find my VHS copy of the film and watch it again.

Upon my viewing, I noticed that when Hank Mitchell meets up with Amy Franklin in the airport, he tells her not to be jealous of his other girlfriend (i.e. Lady Kong) as he hasn't seen her in MONTHS. Amy then tells him that Lady Kong has been kept hidden by the military.

Anyways, since it has been MONTHS since Hank has seen Lady Kong, then the length of her pregnancy isn't really a plot hole at all. King Kong just hid in those swamps for a few months very well.

At least the film's music score wasn't bad.

Yes, you are right. Remember when Amy and Hank go in to see Lady Kong, she's in the cell, held by the army, and she's pining. Amy asks the general how long she's been like that. "I don't know, maybe a few months, she's fine", he says.

So, she was definitely locked away for monthes so the pregnancy is not sudden.
