I have a question(s).

Unfortunately, we have to ignore mostly the 1st movie. I was wondering where the characters from the 1st movie were.

1. The '76 remake was great, any kid who grew up in the 70's/80's like I did will likely tell you it is by far the best incarnation of King Kong ever, I give props to the original for sure, but the '76, tho certainly not lacking in flaws, was a marvel to behold.

2. You are thinking about this movie waaaay too much, it's just for fun, not saying I would have ever green lit it as I feel the character of Kong deserves more dignity, and I was very disappointed in this film when in came out as I wanted to experience more of what I had with the '76, but eventually I learned to just have fun with it.

"Let's bring back ANOTHER giant gorilla into the city, what's the worst that could happen eh? It's not like to could escape and run amok or anything."


Of course they are not in city but in the mountains of East Tennessee (ET). Now I'm seen some scary creatures, out there in the woods, in ET, that would scare Mr. and Mrs. Kong crapless.

It was a great idea to find a lady ape for Kong. This movie really needed a sequel to complete the Kong trilogy. We could have gotten to see Kongs son growing up
