I see on the IMDB page for KKL that they list a co-director for Guillermin, one Charles McCracken. What's the story on that? Who is that guy? I've never heard that before. Did Guillermin have to drop out at some point, or were a lot of scenes reshot? What's the deal? And if no one out there knows, then how the heck did it end up in IMDB?
Charles McCracken, who are you?
Charlie McCracken is an extremely talented and versatile individuual. King Kong Lives was one of his early projects before going on to bigger and better things. After finishing King Kong Lives, McCracken went on to work for the Commonwealth of Virginia in producing films for the Virginia Foundation for the Arts and Humanities, to teach television and film production, and becoming a partner in a very successful advertising/public relations firm and media production company. He is an award-winning video/film producer who now lives in seclusion in Virginia with his wife and two children where he continues to work on documentary films through his company Black River Films (www.blackriverfilms.com). He is very reclusive and extremely tempermental but above all is a perfectionist when it comes to his art form.

What's the deal?
I worked on a book on Kong that came out last year and not one of the crew/cast members mentioned/remembered him. Production Designer Peter Murton also directed a few pick ups and inserts on KKL when Guillerman wasn't available.
